Voices of SPEVI

From a 1955 gathering of professionals to hear about Mercy Dickonson's overseas study tour of schools for the blind to the robust and vibrant association SPEVI is today, there's a lot of history and a great opportunity to reflect as we mark the 70th anniversary of a great movement that continues to strive for access to education for children with vision impairment and multiple disabilities.

In honour of this event, the SPEVI Conference Organising Committee has commissioned a "Voices of SPEVI" video, and we need YOUR HELP!

We are putting a call out to the community for any photographs or videos you may have that are SPEVI related or prior iterations of the association and. We want to showcase as many faces and memories of SPEVI as we can, so we encourage you to submit your media via the steps below. We are mindful that there may be some photos that are printed, you're welcome to scan and send them to us to include in this video.

I have media I want to send you - what do I do?

You can submit your photos and media through the following form: https://forms.gle/wKbm9QGYXu4Wpzf66

When does this project close?

You have until the end of October 2024 to send in your media - this video then will be shown to attendees at SPEVI 2025 Conference!

If you have any issues with the form, please contact: carla.silveira@live.com.au

We thank you for your involvement in this important project!
